Saturday, Dec. 8th will be the Annual Conroe Christmas Celebration with festivities for families beginning at 11:00am and the Kiwanis Christmas Parade at 1:00pm through Downtown Conroe with a theme of “The Secrets of Christmas”. The parade is a collaboration from the Conroe Friendly City Kiwanis and the Conroe Noon Kiwanis. This will be the first service project for the newly formed Key Club from Caney Creek High School. Holiday attractions include snow hills, carriage rides, trackless train, live music, vendors, and ALL FREE!

Our Holiday Food Basket coordinator, Sharon, is still quickly filling requests for Christmas as fast as she gets funding from donations. Donate to families in need at (936) 760-2330. It really makes a significant difference. Conroe Noon Kiwanis will be sharing the Wish List for gifts to donate to youth through Yes to Youth- Montgomery County Youth Services. Donations will be for the youth residing in the shelter in Conroe.

Our Dec. 12 lunch will feature a guest speaker from Family Promise, Board Director, Jennifer Steen. Family Promise offers assistance for homeless families with children through faith communities to offer shelter, meals, and compassionate assistance. The meeting will take place at Hacienda Mis Padres

(5104 W. Davis, Conroe, TX 77304) at noon.

The last meeting of the year will be Dec. 19 at Jose’s Villa Italia in Downtown Conroe-603 N. Thompson. No meeting on Dec. 26th. Guests are always welcome to come eat with us! No RSVP necessary!
