Courier March 16, 2020

Wednesday, March 11 Jamie Glass, Director of Marketing will spoke to us about the Players Theatre Company and the performances at the Owen Theatre in Downtown Conroe. If you haven’t been to any of their shows you are missing out on seeing local talent! www.OwenTheatre.com . With our current local mandates resulting from Covid-19, we are unsure if performances online or when the theatre will be open again.

The Annual Park Clean Up on March 28 and all of our Weekly Conroe Noon Kiwanis Club meetings for the month of March are cancelled as we ride out the disaster in our community and take care of our family to avoid the spread of contamination.

High school seniors are encouraged to submit applications for the Conroe Noon Kiwanis Club Scholarship program. Application is available on our website: www. conroekiwanis.com/scholarships/ and must be printed off and mailed with recommendations from counselors by April 20 to be eligible for a $1000 scholarship.

Our organization is devoted to the children and youth of the Greater Conroe community. With all of us working together we will again be #ConroeStrong! Please be respectful when purchasing items for your personal consumption. Take only what you need so our neighbors will also have supplies for their families. Conroe Noon Kiwanis is committed to serving children with enrichment activities designed for learning, growing, dreaming, and succeeding.

We will monitor the situation and will notify our members and the community when we will have the next Conroe Noon Kiwanis Club Weekly meeting. If you are interested in making a difference in your community, visit our website at www.ConroeKiwanis.com or follow our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/ConroeNoonKiwanis
