The Conroe Noon Kiwanis Holiday Food Baskets has been a tradition for over 20 years lead by Sharon

Singleton, an Honorary Kiwanis member and her husband, Bob, a member of Conroe Noon Kiwanis.  Through the generous donations of our community, families in need living in the Greater Conroe/Willis area are provided fixings for a Thanksgiving or Christmas meal with vouchers for a fresh turkey. The families are also given basic staples of flour, macaroni/cheese, potatoes, oatmeal and supplemental items to last beyond one meal.

Any individual or business may contact Sharon by phone to receive an invoice to help with the Holiday Food Baskets at (936) 760-2330 or by submitting an online request at www.ConroeKiwanis.com. Each basket is valued at $85 each. Hundreds of families have been assisted over the many years, and the need continues to increase. If you are aware of a family that needs assistance, please reach out to Sharon. Often families that are enduring tough times do not have access to a phone, internet, or vehicle. You can make a small difference to the family and the kids. Every effort is made to avoid double dipping from other agencies.

Have you signed up to have your entry in the Conroe Christmas Parade? The theme this year is “Secrets of Christmas” Saturday, December 8 starting at 1:00pm. Conroe Noon Kiwanis will be partnering with the Evening Kiwanis Club of Conroe to streamline the communication and to offer the Key Club of Caney Creek High School an opportunity to learn leadership. Information can be found to enter the parade on www.CityofConroe.org
